Sounded like a nice way to see some of the area. A small operation just starting out. Paul, the owner and operator is a great bloke and very helpful. Only 9 kilometers from start to finish. The Babinda Creek is crystal clear and flows enough to only have to paddle occasionally or if you get stuck on a log, rock or shallow sandy bottom. Heaps of Black Bream scurrying for cover as you drifted over them. The kids were too noisy to see any platypus, turtles or much bird life. But they had a ball. We organized a kayak for each rather than a double and paddled with them. Good thing too! They were all over the place and once they got wet that was the start of it. We are sure they were in the water as much as they were out of it. It was a most enjoyable way to spent the day. Julie commented that the only thing missing was a glass of wine as you drifted along. 🥂🥂🥂 What a concept. 🤗🤗🤗
